Supporting community enterprise

When you buy what we grow, you’re investing in our commitment to vocational training and jobs in BS13.

BS13 Veg boxes – order yours now!

Our weekly seasonal veg boxes are now available through a monthly subscription!

For £40/month subscription you will receive a weekly box of fresh, organically grown (without pesticides or chemicals) vegetables and products made from your kitchen garden produce. Always striving for a zero-waste operation, we’ll be maximising our harvests and turning any excess fruit, vegetables and herbs into a range of delicious preserves, ferments, sweet treats, sauces, soups, and more from our Heart of BS13 Kitchen. This means we can make the most of our seasonal gluts and provide you with homemade products as well as fresh veg every week. Each produce box will be to the value of £10 and will include inspirational recipe cards, hints and tips to help you to make the most of the fresh produce you receive.

When you buy direct from us you support an amazing social enterprise and fund training and investment in BS13. Buying from Heart of BS13 cuts out the usual supply chain and means that you play your part in supporting the local economy and reducing your carbon footprint.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, we are offering FREE doorstep delivery to BS13, BS5 and BS49 residents. (We apologise that we cannot currently offer a collection service, or supply veg boxes to people who live outside of these areas).

We also grow beautiful seasonal flowers which you may like to add to your order – please check out the rest of our online shop!

Flower deliveries to your door!

We now have beautiful seasonal cut flowers available to order in a range of sizes.

While most flowers are flown in from overseas, having been produced in working conditions that are often in dangerous and exploitative, our flowers are all grown by the staff and volunteers in BS13. Buying from us supports our Kitchen Garden Enterprise to thrive, allowing us to further support and invest in the community.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, we are offering FREE doorstep delivery to BS13, BS5 and BS49 residents. (We apologise that we cannot currently offer a collection service, or supply flowers to people who live outside of these areas).

Front Door Flower Markets

Front Door Flower Markets allow us to make our locally-grown flower bouquets available across the city, and help us to raise funds for the important work we are doing to support the BS13 community.

They’re accessible to people who have a friend/neighbour in Bristol who have volunteered to host a Front Door Flower Market for us. You can find out more about the initiative, including how to get involved, here.

If you’ve been invited to purchase our flowers through a Front Door Flower Market, you can pre-pay for your order here. Thank you for supporting our work!

If none of this is making sense to you, you’re probably after our general flower deliveries – please see the section above.

Wholesale flowers and workshops – coming soon!

We will be selling seasonal wholesale flowers by the bucket (approximately 30 stems) at a cost of £25.  For a small charge we can deliver in, and around, central Bristol.

We will also be running seasonal floristry workshops.  For groups of up to 10 people, our workshops will be a great opportunity to learn a new skill, make your wedding or event arrangements and take home your beautiful bouquet.
