Woodland Summer School

Join us for a week of fun and experiments in Leigh Woods this summer holidays, with artists Jack Young and Rebecca Beinart. Through games, walks, drawing, building, sound recording and more, we will think about our relationship to nature, and connections between the histories of Hartcliffe and the histories of Leigh Woods.

The week-long programme will involve the creation of a zine (a DIY magazine) and a podcast based on our experiences, alongside a special sharing event at Spike Island art gallery for friends and family.

When and where:  Monday 25 – Friday 29 July, with pick-up each day at 9.30am from Hartcliffe Club for Young People. The young people will then be dropped off in time for lunch (provided) at Heart of BS13. On the final day, Friday 29 July, there will also be an extra afternoon workshop at Hartcliffe City Farm, where the young people will be making sculptures out of junk materials.

Cost: FREE

Suitable for ages 13+
