Community Kitchen. Practitioner.
I am passionate about using food to address social, health and environmental issues, and have a decade of experience of doing this work in both commercial and community settings. I joined the Community Kitchen team at Heart of BS13 in 2018, and feel very lucky to be able to utilise my love of cooking to support people to improve their health and wellbeing, within an organisation that is taking a dynamic approach to addressing food poverty and building local resilience. I am particularly excited about working with children and young people, using cookery as a tool for confidence-building and environmental-connection, while supporting the development of practical skills that enable healthy and sustainable food choices.
